Limited Capacity seats available

A workshop on embroidery and saying what you want (or poetry). This activity will occur in Mr. Franco's room, L4, hosted by Ms. Josefina Dumay. Needles and threads will be provided, but you must bring a piece of clothing you would like to work with. Embroidery hoops are welcome but not mandatory.

Do you want to get a tattoo but you are underaged and still don’t have consent to do so? Or maybe you do, but you’re not sure that you want a particular design in your body for the rest of your life. Or perhaps you don’t even want a tattoo, but you like the idea of wearing one-of-a-kind pieces to express your style. Whatever the case, this workshop will allow you to fill your clothes with writing using embroidery.

We will start with a short brainstorming session to create a phrase — it could be as Nido as “Where am I from?” or as profound as “I still see your shadows in my room” or as confessional as “do you want to build a snowman?” YOU CHOOSE.

In the second part of the session, you will learn embroidery stitches and start your design. You will walk out of the workshop with a unique piece of clothing intervened by yourself. Most importantly, you will carry a new skill that might become your best friend for life. Needles and threads will be provided, but you must bring a piece of clothing you would like to work with. Embroidery hoops are welcome but not mandatory.

This activity will occur in Mr. Franco's room, L4, hosted by Ms. Josefina Dumay.
